Are you working face to face or remotely?
Coronavirus (COVID-19): I am continuing to work by offering remote consultations for the time being and have set up guidance about working in this way. Contact me for details.
How much do the sessions cost?
Sessions cost between £60.00 and £65.00 depending on the type of therapy i.e. brief or long-term therapy
There is a reduction in cost if the therapy is greater than once a week. I also offer a discount to psychotherapy and counselling students in training.
How long do the sessions last?
All sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly at the same time and day each week.
If you are late for your appointment we won't be able to extend the session to make up the time.
Do you offer any concession rates?
I offer a professional discount to psychotherapy and counselling students in-training.
What happens if I cancel an appointment?
Once we begin to work together an agreed time is then reserved for you. If you cannot attend for whatever reason you remain responsible for paying for those sessions, aside from bank holidays and when I take leave. It might be possible for you to be offered an alternative time for sessions notified in advance that you know you will be unable to attend, but this depends on current availability and cannot be guaranteed. I usually require a minimum of two weeks notice of your intention to leave psychotherapy. Ending is an important part of the work and it is best to allow some time to process this. If you have any concerns about these terms, please do let me know so that we can discuss this further.
Is there wheelchair access?
The Wheathampstead practice is on the ground floor and the door frames can accommodate a wheelchair. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about accessibility.
The psychotherapy practice is in within easy reach of Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden, Luton, Redbourn and St Alban
